They *do* run narrow - My toddler has my narrow feet, but no shoes are made in an official narrow width. I spent some time cruising the reviews on Zappos and picked the one that looked like it was most likely to run narrow. We definitely scored with these. Sizing is a little odd. I ordered the 5/6, even though he's usually a 6+ depending on brand and they fit just fine, with some room to grow.
