IPATH footwear was the first established in 1998 with a vision to offer an alternative path to what was happening in skate footwear.
It was the idea of professional skateboarder Matt Field. Matt originally wanted a skate shoe that was fashionable yet simple. In addition, he wanted his shoes to be good for skateboarding performance while still being good to the earth. Matt combined these ideas with his positive outlook on life and thus I-PATH meaning follow your path was developed.
As IPATH began to forge their own path through the often wasteful world of skate shoes, IPATH began incorporating alternative materials such as hemp, organic cotton, and other sustainable materials into their shoes, creating a new standard for the present and future generations of skateboarders to come. Since IPATH embarked on their never-ending question to research new ways to make their products better for the skater and better for the environment, legions of IPATH devotees have sprouted up, joining in the mission to reduce waste and the subsequent negative impact on the environment.
IPATH® has slowly evolved since then, but they have held true to their roots. As they evolve, you will continue to see a further commitment from Matt Field and their entire IPATH team to consistently offer an alternative to what is out there, a new way of looking at things, and products that those who follow their own path can identify with.
FOLLOW YOUR PATH
