The Beauty vs. Comfort Factor - My 6-yr old daughter begged me to buy these for her to replace some similar ones she bought in Hawaii that broke. These cut into the tops of her feet, and in between her toes when she first got them, but now they seem to be fine. Now we're just back to the eternal negotiating of when it's appropriate for a 6 yr old to wear these (as in, if she wants to have fun and run around and play in the playground, these are not the ones to pick).
