Locust - hemp - The Ipath locust is overall the best skate shoe on the market - amazing comfort, looks, and supports. Cons - wear out in 2-3 months and tear, rip, and create holes. I loved them though.

The real thing - My son wears a size 13. Whenever he goes to buy shoes there is just very little in his size. After seeing this shoe online we searched for it in a store and it just was not there. So I ordered it thinking it would be here in about 5 days. I was so pleasantly surprised when I got an email saying that his shoes were shipped express even though I didn't pay for that. MY SON WAS EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH THE FIT, COMFORT, AND LOOK OF THE SHOE. I was pleased because it looked a little better than a typical sneaker/board shoe. I love the fact that it has a spot for money in the tongue. He already made use of that when he went to an amusement park. It seemed very true to size also. In his words they are "mad cool!"

Great shoe, but it’s canvas - Pros - great shoe. I bought the hemp ones, feels a lot like a little bit beefy-er than Grasshoppers, awesome grip - you will stick to the board, strap is not huge crazy long like on the other model Ipaths, it’s just the right size for my foot, the shoe felt very true to size. Cons - I am used to the Ipath Grasshoppers made with leather and suede. Well, the canvas does not last nearly as long as either of the other materials, but it looks suuuperb. Other than that, I love the shoes and I will buy another pair if they come out with a leather pair or a suede pair *(Note: these are made for skateboarding and that’s how I tested them. I did not do hardly any walking around in them, just skated them.)

Nice Looking shoe - This shoe looks sweet and feels really comfortable. But I recommend not skating in them because after about a week of skating they started to rip and also parts of the shoe that don't usually rip.

YOahhh - These are really sweet looking shoes, but they do not have all that good grip for skate shoes.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: I you want looks, get these, if you just want good skate shoes, go for somthing else.

Ipath Locust - This is a great shoe. It has moderate board feel and is a great shoe for skating in. It’s very comfortable, but they are a bit heavier than normal skate shoes. Very grippy, might have to get used to them. Overall great skate shoe.

Not a terrible shoe, but a heavy one. The back of the shoe rubs your ankles raw after walking in them for extended periods, but I've never had much of an issue skating in them. The insole is amazing and worth keeping around after retirement. If you've got the money to blow on skate shoes, I'd go with Grasshoppers honestly, an all around superior shoe.

Grippiest shoe I've ever had. As the title says, these are indeed grippy. I test grippyness by climbing concrete lightpoles, and with my Lakai, I make it halfway up the pole (its slippery at the top). But in these, I got 2/3 of the way up. I would have gone higher, but jumping from 16 feet off the ground is a bad idea. Anyways, they also provide lots of comfort. Unless you decide to use the tongue pocket, then things get a little uncomfy. As for the look, I have the black/rey/white/red ones, and they look waaay better with the black laces (included!) To the point that it's amazing. And if you use the velcro strap, the shoe never falls off your foot. It's impossible. (this is a problem ive had with adios, but maybe its just me) SO if you have money buy these shoes! (i bought mine on sale!!! bwa ha ha)
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: the Grasshoppers from Ipath look pretty similar, so if you like these, you might like Grasshoppers.

Ipath Locust - It's just awesome. At first, I never expected Ipath shoes to be this comfortable. It provides moderate heel cushioning and great ankle support. It just feels right when I skate in them. It's a lil' expensive as a skate shoe, but it's worth every penny.

I love these shoes - I got these shoes a while back and I loved them. The insoles felt great cause of the coconut and other stuff they put in it. Also it fells great with the ankle strap, and it isn’t bad at all that they look really cool. So that’s why I am on here right now getting some more

These shoes are way cool! Ipath Locust- what a great shoe to own! Coconut Honeycomb insole adds arch support. Customize the fit with the ankle strap. Overall, an awesome shoe that completes any style.

These are Sweet shoes! I would recommend these shoes to ANYONE that is into the whole skate shoe genre, with the comfort, functionality, and look these bring to the pavement!

Ipath Locust - They don’t wear down easy. I have been skating in them four times and they just have a tiny scuff mark from kick flips. Not the most comfy shoes but not the worst. If you’re rich try ‘em out, but if you’re looking for a shoes that’s comfy, cheap and doesn’t take so long to break in then I wouldn’t recommend these. But overall a decent skate shoe.
