The Dakine District 09 is great for the daily commuter and air traveler. Hangs nicely over the shoulder, easy access, well divided compartments. Laptop padding is ample enough to feel secure with both a laptop and an external drive. Air, sea, or land. Raining climate or dry. An all around solid bag. Be careful if you are looking for a bag that can get you through a day on campus or traveling heavy on business. Not the bulk bag solution. I can get a few mags, 2 bulky library books, laptop, cell, digi-cam, and all those nasty cables comfortably. Not the bag if you dress in layers and need to stuff those extra layers as the day warms up or if you plan to throw an extra tee or hoodie. Love the vertical shape over the horizontal messenger style. Doesn't look like a man purse but would be nice to have in different color ways and fabrics than the black offering.
