I ordered these shoes for my son. They were perfect in every way. Ipath shoes are very sturdy and a great shoe for the winter months. As always, ordering from Zappos is always a positive experience; the shoes came in record time!

These shoes fell apart faster than anything I have ever owned. I'd had them less than a week (and worn them once) when I noticed the stitching was coming off my left shoe and that the tongue on the left had never even been completely sewn in. Now I've worn them maybe 5 or 6 times (opting for flip-flops the rest of the time since it hasn't gotten too cold yet) and the canvas on my right shoe has been ripped to shreds. I don't skateboard, I haven't hiked, it hasn't snowed yet, I hit some tennis balls around once for an hour, and these shoes are a wreck. Worst shoe purchase I've ever made. I never review products, but now I'm stuck with crappy shoes I can't afford to replace and winter is coming. Do not buy.

I got the black synthetic ones, and other than the durability they where great shoes. When I first ordered them I was afraid they would be too puffy, but when I got them they were fine - they are not a super slim shoe obviously, but they are not bulky. They have excellent board feel (to me they are the second best shoes with board feel next to Vans) but instead of hurting your feet they have a decent amount of padding. They had good arc support and were very comfortable when they got broken in. I would recommend getting these shoes but not in that color because they maybe lasted 4-5 days before a hole formed in the toe and ollie area, also they ripped on my switch toe and I never rip shoes on that side. Bottom line is if your looking for a good skate shoe get these but in a different color.

I got the black synth/nubuck colorway. While these skated fine at first they wore away extremely fast. As I write this I have owned them for 4 days and there is a circular hole about an inch wide that my toes stick through. If you skate, I highly recommend picking a different material or shoe because these are honestly the least durable shoes I have ever owned. Also, for the record, the soles are fine and don't seem to be wearing down particularly fast. While vegan shoes are a nice idea, it just seems that they make awful skate shoes (the hemp ones are even worse I've heard).

Just right - Got my pair of Reed Brown/Multi’s today, and am very happy so far. Super comfy mid-top cush, the color's true to these photos -- kind of ashy-brown, and your foot sits kind of low to the ground cuz the soles not super thick, which I really like -- makes you feel more rooted to the ground. Don't know yet, but based on other reviews I'm expecting they'll start wearing pretty quick, but whatever. For now they're incredible. Oh, and P.S. Zappos, you got these on my feet in less than 12 hours!!! How are you possible??? Fan for life.

I wrote a positive review on these shoes after I first got them, but they are a bit delicate, delicate enough to warrant some additional comments. The hemp has pulled away from the sole on one shoe. I’m not a shredder of any form (no skate, no bmx), so there isn’t a good reason why this would happen. They still are comfortable shoes and overall I like the style a lot. Zappos needs to add a "durability" measurement, which I’d give these shoes two stars.

This shoe (hemp orange) is very comfortable, but it has many down sides. The hemp rips very easily and for me, since I bmx, the hemp split from the sole after 5 sesh’s. I don’t reccomend buying the shoe to skate or bmx with. Only as a chill shoe for when you’re with your homies.

These sneakers are by far the the worst my son has ever worn. We sent back the first pair as the thread around the ankle started to unravel immediately and we thought it was just that pair. We were wrong! The second pair did the same thing and after one week they look completely worn out and have started to fall apart. This is the first and LAST pair of Ipath sneakers we will purchase. He has worn Vans and DC's before this pair and these look more beat up after one week of wearing than the other two in almost a year of wearing!

I am returning these, the sole on both shoes is separating from the shoe, yet if you looked at the sole itself it isn't worn at all. They are also rather stiff on a skateboard for me.

Excellence! I have owned Ipaths for my last 4 pairs of shoes and I’ll probably continue to buy them. The most recent to my collection are the Brown Shearling Reed's, and I’ve also owned the hemp Reed lows. They are both really nice shoes and I would recommend them to anyone looking for new shoes. The one thing I can say negatively however, is the price. I wish they could be less expensive. But, then again, that doesn't really say anything about the shoes themselves. So, pony up the cash and buy 'em.

The best shoe I have ever owned. I have been wearing Ipath’s for about 5 years and it started with the Grasshopper. The Reed and Reed Low are amazing shoes. I bought one hemp pair and they fell apart in about 6 months of everyday wear. I would stick with the leather shoes. I am going backpacking to Europe for a month and I was going to get some hiking shoes. Now I think I’m going to get some leather Reeds and throw an insole in them. Buy them! You won’t regret it. I wear a 13 in Grasshoppers and a 12 in Reeds.

Excellent, comfortable, warm shoe - The shearling inside provides a wonderful source of warmth, as well as making it smooth to enter and exist the shoe. A durable shoe, both inside and out. No damage after about two months of use, and no real wearing down of the sole. Came with extra laces which is always nice. Would recommend this shoe to anyone who likes the style and look, as it feels great.

Ipath is life. This is my third pair of Ipath’s over the past two years or so, and they never fail to impress. Quick shipping from Zappos got them to my dorm in three days, and they fit perfect straight out of the box. They're higher with a lot of ankle support, but I wouldn't say they're true high-tops. So comfortable I never take them off, and perfect for the snow to come. Ipath’s are the only shoes I'll swear by.

So awesome - These are pretty f'n hip shoes. AND they're vegan! Yay! They're holding up to lots of walking very well, fraying juuust a little but it adds the look. I'm very, very happy with these shoes. Didn't even have to break them in!

Sick - I ordered these one day and sure enough they were here the next. So not only was the shipping prompt, but the shoes are awesome, too. Only skated them once so far, but they are really good. Love the shoe! These were purchased for my 15 year old son. Ipath shoes tend to run a bit longer in size which helps out tremendously since my teenage son wears a size 15. We were able to purchase the size 14 and they fit beautifully and kept him in style w/ such a difficult size to fit and didn't break the bank w/ a specialty shoe size. The free shipping offer to & from was also a bonus.

Great shoes. They help if your foot moves forward or back a lot. They keep your foot in place. Haven't skated them yet, but I’m sure they'll be great shoes.

Amazing - These are the most comfortable skate shoes I’ve ever had. When I first got them they felt tight, but after skating in them two or three times, they had stretched out. They got a huge hole in the toe in about 2 months, but I still wear them anyway.

Ipath Reed - Don’t get the suede. They rip quick but I got the brown and they’re super comfy and haven’t hardly scuffed after 5 days of skating...very good recommended.

Love the shoe! These were purchased for my 15 year old son. Ipath shoes tend to run a bit longer in size which helps out tremendously since my teenage son wears a size 15. We were able to purchase the size 14 and they fit beautifully and kept him in style w/ such a difficult size to fit and didn't break the bank w/ a specialty shoe size. The free shipping offer to & from was also a bonus.

Great shoes. They help if your foot moves forward or back a lot. They keep your foot in place. Haven't skated them yet, but I’m sure they'll be great shoes.

Amazing - These are the most comfortable skate shoes I’ve ever had. When I first got them they felt tight, but after skating in them two or three times, they had stretched out. They got a huge hole in the toe in about 2 months, but I still wear them anyway.

Ipath Reed - Don’t get the suede. They rip quick but I got the brown and they’re super comfy and haven’t hardly scuffed after 5 days of skating...very good recommended.
