Nice, but not great - I purchased these to go in my new New Balance hiking boots, but the boots were too narrow, so I'm using the Superfeet in some other shoes. I have wide feet with fallen arches, and I'm pretty heavy on the balls of my feet, so I need some good arch support and a good cushion. First let me say that I don't think these are really appropriate for people with wide feet, mine are EE to EEEE depending on the shoe. While I appreciate the firm arch support, I feel like my feet are spilling over the sides of the insoles. This has lessened with wear, but hasn't entirely gone away. The Superfeet size guide says that if you have wide feet you should get a larger size insole to accommodate and then trim it down, but I fear the metatarsal bump would then be extremely uncomfortable for me (see below for more on the bump). Next up is the cushioning factor. These are not very cushy, supportive, but not cushy. The plastic arch reinforcement runs most of the length of the insole and it has (what I think is) a metatarsal bump right behind the ball of the foot. When I put these in a pair of Ecco shoes, which already have one of those bumps built into the sole, it stuck up into my foot so far as to be painful, and I won't put these into my Eccos again. It is nice that these fit in most of my shoes and are easily transferable, but the lack of cushion and the width will probably prevent me from purchasing this model again. I would consider buying the Superfeet Orange which purports to have great cushioning.

So far so good! Just got these insoles after reading all the positive reviews. I am training for both a half and full marathon, and therefore, need all the support I can get. Before I got these, I noticed my feet getting fatigued sooner and recovery taking longer during my training. After trying these insoles for the first time, I was able to run longer...with less fatigue afterwards. They will take some getting used to, but I have peace of mind knowing I am getting the proper support I need, and reducing injury. These insoles rock! Worth the investment.

Not really worth it - I'm kind of confused by these. I got the greens for extra arch support; the ones for flatter feet say they don't have full support, so I'm assuming these are "archier". I wear a woman's 11, so the size of Superfeet that fits lengthwise is pretty wide for all of my shoes (a combination of mediums and narrows, so if you have wide feet/shoes you'd probably be okay). I popped them in a pair of boots and a pair of sneakers, and wasn't too impressed. For comparison, I went out and got a pair of Profoot Aero-3s (they were like $13 or thereabouts) from the drugstore for comparison...and couldn't tell much of a difference. The Superfeet had a slightly more pronounced arch, but the cheapy ones were comfier and fit into my shoes much better. Planning to return them and use the price difference towards comfier shoes :)

Not worth it - I got these inserts based on the number of positive reviews. I have a mild case of plantar fasciitis and thought the added support would help. They are very hard and make my feet hurt. It's like I've been standing on a concrete floor all day just to wear them a few hours.

Superfeet - The Superfeet products are great. I now buy the Green ones for all athletic shoes and I use others in my non-athletic shoes. Much better support than the insoles that come with the shoes, even the higher end ones.

Superfeet work for arch support - I have feet that pronate - they roll inward slightly. When they roll, they flatten out. This leads to bad knees and I was having plenty of knee pain. A doctor recommended Superfeet and I have to say, my knees feel much better. The green are a good mid-level support for walking and running. They feel great in my regular Nike sneakers.

Good support, but no cushion - I was looking for an upgrade over my stock Air Zoom Vomero +2 insoles, which had over 300 miles on them. I was looking for something to provide more cushioning and a little bit more stability. Read the good reviews on these and thought I'd try them out. I've probably put close to 50 miles on them and I honestly don't like them. Not much cushioning and my forefoot and the outsides of both feet hurt after my long runs (7 to 8 miles). I didn't have this problem with my stock insoles, just a little bit of knee pain. I'm going to try the SOLE insoles and will provide a review of those after I get them from Zappos.com.

I wanted to get some top-notch insoles for my Asics trail running shoes to do a rim to rim and back hike in the Grand Canyon. Long story short, after fully breaking them in, they were great - and no black toenails this time. These definitely needed a full break in period for me. I wore them on a 5 mile run and wearing around the house for 5 days and thought that was good enough. Took them on a 5 mile steep hike, and that's when I wore a blister on both heels. The hard plastic heel mold under the insole lifted my heel just a bit, so it wore on the shoe more than usual. Ugh - 1 week to go till the canyon hike and I have 2 blisters. I continued to wear them around the house and office to break them in. By the time I hiked the canyon, they had settled in the shoe a bit, so no more rub. Very comfortable on the long hike - no other blisters and no black toenails - yeah! I also wore the Injini socks that cover each toe, along with a thick Thorlo sock over that.

These things are the only thing that keeps me going. We have one local store that sells them and they are way over priced. I work in an automotive factory and I am on my feet 9-12 hours a day. So, in short if you pound the concrete for hours at a time these things really help. I had plantar fasciitis 6 years ago and after many attempts at custom orthopedic insoles, this is still and will continue to be my choice. Its a small price to pay to keep your dogs from barking all night long.

Super! Last year during training for a half-marathon, I injured my foot & never quite got a fix on what happened, what was wrong, but to the best of my knowledge I acquired a slight case of plantar fasciitis. I do Trigger Point religiously to help treat & prevent it, but as soon as I started adding mileage recently, I could feel the same old pains coming on. These came highly recommended to me & I must say, as soon as I put them in my shoes, I knew I would be ordering a few more pairs. My shoes still retain the cushioning I need, but the green Superfeet hold my ankle securely & though I have continued to increase my mileage, I have had no more symptoms! I'll never stop my Trigger Point because it is a great tool, but these Superfeet are my new best friends!

Great support - I tried the Sole brand insoles that are heat moldable and wasn't particularly crazy about them so I returned them for the Superfeet green. These give me just the right amount of support for my overpronation. I use them in all my running shoes and hiking boots. They make a huge difference in stability even in my motion control shoes, Mizuno Wave Renegade 3. Much lighter than the Sole brand as well.

The Perfect Solution for Athletes - I personally have very, very flat feet which spread out and become wide whenever I take a step. I also happen to be a D1 basketball player, so not having the proper support could make or break me. But custom insoles cost a lot of money and were way too hard to put in basketball sneakers. Thus, Superfeet have saved my life. They're perfect for giving me that arch support I so desperately need - and in that way protecting my knees and ankles from injury. I can't say how much I love these! I have two pairs and switch them between all the sneakers I have. The only thing is that the green has; of course, worn down on my insoles due to constant wear and tear on the basketball court... but I wouldn't trade these babies for anything!

Great insoles! I bought these on a whim, not knowing anything about them. Wanted to put them in sneakers that I use for a retail job. Was I surprised-they are great. They turned a moderately priced New Balance sneaker into a more expensive fitting model. The arch support is great, which is what I needed. Will definitely buy more of these. You may think they are too firm at first, but that is what you need in an insole for arch support.

Too pricey - I purchased these because of all the good reviews, though usually just buy the Dr. Scholl's arch support for $10 or so. I bought new athletic shoes and convinced myself I needed Superfeet for my collapsing arch. After wearing these for 2 weeks, I find myself putting on my old shoes with the Dr. Scholls because they have provided the arch support I need. My advice... save your money and try Dr. Scholls first.
