Cool looking shoe but not the most comfortable - These are nice looking and simple. But they are not the most cushy or comfortable shoes. Not meant for long walks or all day use. Style over function. They might run a bit small so I'd suggest getting 1/2 size larger than normal.

3rd Times the Charmer...or not?!? The 7.5 was too small, and the size 8 slips off my heel. The back of the shoe (against your heel) is low cut. I put orthotics in the shoes and my heel slipped even more. They have decent arch support, they look awesome. I'm keeping the size 8's because I like the style so much, I can deal with the minor heel slippage.

Lightweight, cool looking shoes, half size too small and very comfortable. The problem is 3 months later the sole is showing considerable signs of wear under moderate usage and the fabric upper is coming apart from the sole at the back of the shoes.

I absolutely LOVE these shoes. Before getting these, I'd always worn skateboarding shoes that had a lot of padding, so these took a week or two to get used to because it just felt like a shell on my foot. They're insanely comfortable after you get used to them, and I've gotten quite a few compliments on them as well. These shoes have very little arch support, so I just bought gel arches to put in them. I was a little unsure of what size to get, but I regularly wear a women's size 9 1/2 to a 10, and I got men's size 8 and they fit perfectly.

I got these as a lightweight replacement for my adidas Campus sneakers. They're a bit like a nicer (and wider) Chuck Taylor – though with much better arch support. Not much help with my overpronating, but I wasn't expecting that out of these. Very comfortable and good looking. It seems like the fiber fabric will hold up for awhile but I guess time will tell.

A great shoe - I bought this shoe as a replacement for an old pair because I trusted the comfort and style Macbeth offers (I was the owner of several other pairs). Overall a great looking shoe, but was very uncomfortable until broken in since it gave me a blister. However they are now great to wear and I walk all day in them. Definitely a great buy!

Nice looking and different - These caught my eye because they're different. I'm a girl and had to buy the men's because they don't come in women's. They are pretty flat, not much arch support, more like a Converse, but I'm not expecting to wear them for athletics anyway. I got the gray/black and they are sharp and unique and vegan, so all around I recommend it if that's what you're looking for.

Great shoes, These shoes are extremely comfortable...but only after the first day. The first day I wore them I got a bad blister on the back of my foot but after that the shoes are perfect. They fit and feel great and after wearing them for 16 hours one day, they still felt great. The material breathes well and overall I would highly recommend this shoe, especially for the price and great service from Zappos.

Freaking Amazing Shoes. So I wanted a pair of these bad boys for a while now, and when I saw my fav rocker with them on I knew that I had to have a pair. When I got them and opened the box I was so in love. They fit like a dream and look amazing. The coolest things I've ever had on my feet. A good stylish shoe - I got a lot of compliments on the shoe. The fit and comfort is good. The only complaint I have is that if you don't tie it on tight the heel tends to slip off.

Macbeth Manchester - These shoes definitely have a great look and are very stylish. The Manchester's are very lightweight and breathable. Good summer and spring shoes, not so much for winter with a low back and thin lightweight material. A little stiff at first, but what shoes aren't? Once they are broken in, they fit to your feet very well.

Attractive and comfortable enough but not durable - These shoes are very comfortable and felt broken-in from day one. Unfortunately, after a couple of months of normal wear, there is a hole near the toe of the left shoe! I have never owned a shoe which tore after so little wear! The shoe has never even been used for any kind of athletic activity but only for walking. It's too bad as they are very nice looking shoes.

Black Manchester Macbeths - I have a basically brand new pair of Macbeth Manchester’s (black) at home and they're a very light weighted comfortable shoe unless your going out to do a lot of walking in them then I suggest a different pair of shoes; cuz i wore my Manchester’s to Warped Tour and I walked around a lot in them and the back of my heel was all red and worn out and hurt really bad cuz there isn’t much padding in the back of the shoe to support your feet. I also had been running around in them too and going crazy jumping up and down so try and stay away from that also. Very good shoe otherwise. The shoe is designed to look good and for using when you go out on a date or just hanging out with friends or something but walking around in them a lot and going on hikes or long walks leave them at home trust me. Thanks.

Oh please last more than a year! As the title of this commentary might suggest, buying any shoe is an enormous challenge for me and my feet, and to find a shoe that purports to be vegan, well, good luck all the same. I bought these Macbeth Manchester’s to replace a well-loved and nearly disintegrated pair of Macbeth Eliot’s from last summer. I wore a 9 mens in the Eliot and found that I take a 9.5 in the Manchester. Who knew? I expect that these sneakers will break in quite nicely and was VERY happy to see that they are made much sturdier than the Eliot- there are two layers of fabric: one outer herringbone and the inner is like a slacks-weight fabric in the same color- hopefully these will last me more than 6 months before separating from the sole. Also, I am not sure why the laces are each over 5 feet long, but hey, if I ever need some rope, I can just borrow from my shoes! Thank you, Mister Macbeth! Oh yeah, same great return service from Zappos, as usual!

Oh please last more than a year! As the title of this commentary might suggest, buying any shoe is an enormous challenge for me and my feet, and to find a shoe that purports to be vegan, well, good luck all the same. I bought these Macbeth Manchester’s to replace a well-loved and nearly disintegrated pair of Macbeth Eliot’s from last summer. I wore a 9 mens in the Eliot and found that I take a 9.5 in the Manchester. Who knew? I expect that these sneakers will break in quite nicely and was VERY happy to see that they are made much sturdier than the Eliot- there are two layers of fabric: one outer herringbone and the inner is like a slacks-weight fabric in the same color- hopefully these will last me more than 6 months before separating from the sole. Also, I am not sure why the laces are each over 5 feet long, but hey, if I ever need some rope, I can just borrow from my shoes! Thank you, Mister Macbeth! Oh yeah, same great return service from Zappos, as usual!
